Whitespace Safety Standards

There have been a few changes since you’ve been in last, all designed to keep you, our team and our greater community safe, sound and healthy.

Your Safety. Your Health. Your Future.

At a (social) distance

We’ll be saying hello from a safe distance and maintaining social distancing with contactless check-in. Please try to give your fellow yogis a little extra space when entering/leaving the studio.

Safe and sound

Everyone should wash or sanitise their hands on arrival. Also, we recommend wearing a mask when leaving/entering the studio. (You don’t have wear one on your mat)

We’ve always taken cleanliness seriously, but now we’re even more focused on it. Here’s what you can expect to happen behind the scenes at our studio:

High touch areas disinfected

Throughout the day we’re sanitising high touch areas such as light switches, door handles and knobs, bathrooms, rails and more.

Disinfected between sessions

We’re making space for cleaning between each  session to ensure that we have time to properly sanitise and disinfect so that it’s ready for you. We’ll be doing top to bottom studio cleans daily on top of this so that every nook and cranny is spotless.

Staff health checkin

We’re checking every team member’s temperature before their shift begins, and staff will be taking twice-weekly covid tests. If it’s elevated, they’ll be heading home and we’ll be following our protocols to ensure your session happens as planned.

Client health checkin

We’re asking all students to self monitor for symptoms. If you’re not feeling well, don’t worry, just let us know and we’ll cancel your session on the house.

Been sick?

If you’ve been sick, please wait 72 hours after you’ve stopped running a fever without the use of fever reducing medicine before coming back to the studio.

Bookings and cancellations

Our spots are limited as we have lots of students ready to come to class. Unless you’re sick, please cancel or reschedule in-studio classes 12 hours in advance to make sure your spot can be offered to someone else, and to ensure you’re not charged for the class.

Be on time

The class doors will close when the class starts. Please ensure you’re here on time to avoid missing out.

Please come ready for class

Please come dressed ready to practice. Only bring what you need for class and keep anything else at home or locked safely in boot of your car.

Perfectly laid out space

We’re limiting the number of students in the studio. This means there will be a space ready and waiting for you with zero concerns about being on top of your neighbour. Teachers will always ask before making any adjustments to your pose, and will wear a mask if moving around the room.

No studio mats or props available

We’ve eliminated studio mats for rent or borrow. You’re able to use studio yoga props (excluding mats). Once the class has finished, you must disinfectant the props you’ve used with the misting bottles provided.

Practices that nourish you

Our classes will nurture you in the safest way, with no more than a moderate tempo and gentle breathing to help you feel calm, balanced and nourished.
