Restorative Teacher Training

Restorative Teacher Training: 16 Hour CPD

Join us for a two day restorative teacher training delivered by Aoife O’Dalaigh. This is a practical guide to help bring this resting practice into your personal practice, yoga room, or therapy space.

This training will help de-mystify the art and science behind deep and conscious rest. We will explore the practical side to using props to support the body. We will also look at the subtle body to help students find their way into a deeper place of rest. This training will also emphasise finding your own voice to lead and guide people in a compassionate way.

This  2-day course is for anyone who wants to explore their relationship with resting ‘on purpose’. The training can be used to deepen your personal practice or for Yoga teachers, therapists, nurses, and anyone in the healing arts.

Aoife O'Dalaigh

Irish born Aoife (EE-fa) moved to New York in the late 90’s, where she discovered yoga and soon became hooked. From New York to Los Angeles, Aoife experienced the burgeoning yoga scene. Some of the teachers Aoife regularly practiced with were Eric Schiffman, Bryan Kest, Ashley Turner, Govind Das, and Jo Tastula.

Aoife received her 200 hour training with Yoga Works in Santa Monica and went on to assist the first Yoga Works training in the UK in 2019. She completed her 300 hour training with her main vinyasa teacher Jason Crandell in 2021. One of her biggest influences has been restorative yoga and yoga Nidra. She has completed trainings with Jillian Pransky, as well as assisting Tamika Caston-Miller.

Aoife moved to Belfast in 2015 with her husband and her two fur babies, where she became a full-time yoga teacher. In Aoife’s restorative classes you can expect a warm and safe environment.

Aoife is an avid cook, reader, and loves spending time with her family in Dublin.

There were lots of opportunities to ask questions. I feel that what I've learn't can immediately be applied to my teaching.
