Reformer Pilates is a dynamic, full-body workout performed on a machine called the Reformer. With its system of springs, pulleys, and a gliding carriage, the Reformer creates resistance that challenges your strength, stability, and control in every movement.
Unlike mat Pilates, the Reformer allows for a greater variety of exercises and adjustable levels of intensity—making it highly effective for targeting specific muscle groups and improving alignment. The moving platform helps you engage your core and support muscles with precision, while also increasing flexibility and balance.
Each session is designed to be low-impact yet deeply effective, offering a mindful, flowing workout that tones, lengthens, and strengthens your body from the inside out.
For Pilates Students
Take your practice to the next level with added resistance and more precise movement patterns.
For Yogis
Deepen your body awareness, improve alignment, and strengthen stabilizing muscles to support your yoga practice.
For Athletes & Active Individuals
Enhance core strength, prevent injuries, and boost mobility—great as a complement to training or performance routines.
For Beginners & Rehab
With adjustable resistance and personalized guidance, Reformer Pilates is a safe and effective option for those recovering from injury or just getting started.
Imagine a workout that leaves you feeling energised, not exhausted. One that tones your body, clears your mind, and builds strength from the inside out. Reformer Pilates is more than a fitness class—it’s a practice that transforms how you move, how you feel, and how you show up in your everyday life. Over time, you’ll notice the difference not just in your body—but in your confidence, your posture, your energy, and your mood. That’s the kind of change worth signing up for.
New to Reformer Pilates?
For safety and confidence, all new clients are required to complete 3 induction/beginner session before joining our regular Reformer classes. This session will introduce you to the Reformer machine, teach you how to set up and adjust it properly, and guide you through key movements and alignment cues.
Already familiar with Reformer Pilates?
If you’ve previously trained on the Reformer and feel confident setting up and using the equipment, you’re welcome to book directly into our regular classes. Our sessions are designed to challenge and support you at every level, with options to modify or progress as needed.
Not at all! Reformer Pilates is suitable for all levels—from total beginners to experienced movers. If you are new to reformer classes you will need to attend 3 induction/beginners classes before attending intermediate and/or advanced classes.
Wear comfortable, form-fitting activewear that allows you to move freely. Grippy socks are recommended for safety and hygiene (and are often required). Avoid anything too loose, as it can get caught in the equipment.
While both share the same core principles, Reformer Pilates uses a machine to add resistance and support. This allows for a wider range of movements, deeper muscle engagement, and more targeted strength training.
Yes—many people use Reformer Pilates as part of rehabilitation. Its low-impact nature, combined with the ability to adjust resistance and range of motion, makes it ideal for building strength safely. Always consult your physician or physio before starting.
For noticeable improvements in strength, posture, and flexibility, we recommend 2–3 sessions per week. Consistency is key, and even one session a week can make a difference in how your body feels.
Reformer Pilates can support weight loss by building lean muscle, improving metabolism, and increasing physical activity. It’s especially effective when combined with a balanced lifestyle and nutrition.
Yes! That post-class soreness is a good sign you’re working muscles you may not usually target. As your body adapts, you’ll feel stronger, more aligned, and more energised.
