Enhance your teaching skills and explore the mind-body connection…

Yin Yoga Teacher Training: 4-day Immersion

Watch this first 👇

It’s easy to be swept away by the demands of modern life…

This Teaching Immersion into Yin Yoga creates space to explore the practice and experience of Yin yoga and has a strong emphasis on teaching skills so that you are confident to deliver this practice skilfully to your students.

This affects everything, from our ability to:

…sleep soundly
…digest our food
…focus and be present
…feel grounded throughout every day
…function in our day-to-day roles

And even our ability to conceive a child

What’s more, 1 in 3 adults report having experienced some sort of developmental trauma in their lives

…Whether relatively minor, or a major traumatic event

In fact, we all experience at least one of these symptoms as a result of our experiences

So what is Yin yoga?

Yin Yoga is a subtle and quiet practice and is a great complementary yoga practice to the more dynamic and invigorating yoga styles that are predominant today.

Dawn Wright

But what does that mean exactly?

Relaxing with awareness’ means consciously allowing yourself to first notice that…

  1. The mind is stressed, noisy and overworked
  2. And as a result, the body is in a state of tension

So practising relaxing with awareness becomes the key to:

…unlocking stress and restoring your mind and body to a state of balance or homeostasis

…in a similar way to meditation

Your teacher for this 4-day Yin Yoga Immersion is a senior teacher Dawn Wright.

In Deborah’s own words,

“To feel the power of the practice for myself, and to see it in my students’ faces, it absolutely convinced me to train as a Restorative teacher…

…to have that complement of learning how to sit still, and to truly nourish ourselves in rest is one of the greatest gifts that we can give ourselves and students.”

But I’m not a teacher… is this for me?

If you’ve read this far, chances are either…

you’re a yoga teacher interested in taking your teaching to the next level with these powerful skills…

or you’re a dedicated yoga student wanting to deepen their understanding and practice of yoga, or health professional keen to broaden your knowledge and skills.…

So if this is you, you don’t want to miss this!

This is an incredibly powerful practice and training

…What will you come out of it with?

Dawn will introduce you to the practice, concepts and true benefits of these techniques…

Whether you teach others or you’re interested in this for your own practice

So waht this training offers…

  • safe space to explore the practice and experience of Yin yoga
  • teaching skills so that you are confident to deliver this practice skilfully to your students

Sounds good? Great!
And how do the days look?

Each day includes…

Yin yoga practice
    as well as meditation
        and self-reflection

We’ll explore

• Yin Sequencing and skills for teaching Yin yoga
• Understanding the use of props and modifications in teaching Yin
• Deeper teaching skills of language usage and holding space
• The history and concepts of Yin yoga, Chinese Meridian Theory
• Explore fascia and skeletal variations in Yin
• Meditation practices and their use in yin.

The structure of the course:

  • mixture of experiential Yin Practice
  • lectures
  • group discussions
  • teaching practice exercises

ensuring you to go away armed with everything you need to teach this wonderful and hugely popular style of yoga.

For teachers specifically, this training will also provide support with verbal cueing and set up of postures, sequencing, and creating a safe space for all students

In addition, you’ll also do your own daily practice during the course as well as journaling

How many hours is this course?

  • 28 contact hours
  • 10 hours reading
  • 12 hours to include assignment, “om” work, Yin practice, observation and/or teaching of Yin classes

A final 3 hour session will take place a few weeks after the 4 training days. This is to meet the total course hours and to allow space for further exploration of teaching yin yoga and answer questions that have arisen following some time for integration and reflection. This date will be agreed at a mutually convenient time for the group and tutor.

Ok. What certification will I get from this training?

Whether just starting the journey as a Yoga Teacher, seeking to enhance existing teaching skills or simply wish to develop their personal practice…

this course is a welcome study immersion for yoga teachers and teachers in training

to refresh, renew and to deepen their practice and teach authentically…

grounded both in self-awareness and experiential knowledge

It’s also open to dedicated yoga students wanting to deepen their understanding and practice of yoga

and health professionals (e.g. Osteopaths, Psychomotor Therapists) keen to broaden their knowledge and skills (please note, this wouldn’t certify you as a Yin Yoga Teacher)

If you’re a teacher:

You will earn a 50-hour Yin Yoga teaching certificate, which is accredited by the Yoga Alliance Professionals

And these training hours can be used for CPD points with other organisations, e.g. Yoga Alliance, British Wheel, General Osteopathic Council (please check with your professional body for details)

If you’re not a teacher:
And you’re doing this training for your own personal development, you’ll earn a Certificate of Attendance, which will help to open up new opportunities for you as you continue your personal yoga journey
